This workshop is organized as part of the project “Balkan Ecovillage Network – Sustainability in Practice”. With a serial of workshops, presentations and courses we will try to help subjects interested in practical sustainable development, with the principles of lowering pressure on the natural carrying capacity of the Earth. The Project is a result of collaboration of three non-governmental organizations (NGO’s): Green Network of Activist Groups from Vukomerić, Croatia, NGO „Kneja“ from Čakovec, Croatia and „Center for Environment“ from Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Among with the solar collector workshop, there will be workshops about worm composting and installation of small wind-solar energy systems. All participants are warmly welcomed; we invite especially representatives from urban organizations, ecologically aware corporations, students and associations.
The project „Balkan Ecovillage Network – Sustainability in Practice“ is being implemented with a grant given through the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe's SECTOR Programme. This Programme is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
